Alternatives to labor and delivery

It is commonly assumed that to deliver a baby it will be in a hospital.Or to be more precise, a lot of people think that when you have a baby that you have to use medicine. In this piece we are going to try to shatter some of those assumptions. We are going to offer alternatives that might be better.
Of course these observations are going to be coming from the viewpoint of my experience running a San Diego licensed midwife service.If you don’t know midwives in general are women who help other women during the delivery of a baby.Usually all the time without needing to use medicines in a homebirth.
So why are there a few women going with this alternative method?For the many women that go with this method and understand it, it is because of several reasons.
First off, the use of no medicine actually helps speed up the labor and delivery process.Quite a few women don’t understand that when you use medicine it makes the labor slow down.Women want to use it because they think it stops the pain, but it actually makes the pain last longer. There are many certified midwives in San Diego who can show you proof of that.
Second, when you do use a natural method such as a waterbirth, it actually helps the muscles and the body because it soothes and relaxes during the delivery. This of course helps ease the pain and makes delivery happen much faster. I have seen it as a homebirth midwife San Diego.
Those are a couple of the reasons that women choose a homebirth as the method to deliver.So even without the use of medicine and although there are no doctors, this method has been proven safe. The delivery at home actually helps the delivery remain private and dignified.Rather than the hospital where there will be quite a few different people who will be poking and prodding you during labor. So for these reasons many woman prefer a homebirth.It is a dignified and safe way and a process that is natural.
